Preparation Time:10 minutes

(Serves 2)

Ingredients:


Milk: 1 Cup

Milk powder: 2 tbs

Sugar Powder: 1 tbs

Malai:1 1/2 tbs

Elaichi powder: 1/4 tsp

Almonds: 4 pcs



Let's Begin!

  • Grease a pan with a little Desi ghee and pour the milk and boil

  • Grease a plate with a little ghee and keep aside

  • Lower the flame to medium and add the milk powder, sugar and malai

  • Keep stirring, soon it will start thickening

  • Switch off the flame

  • Add Elaichi powder and mix

  • Remove quickly on the greased plate and spread evenly with a spatula

  • Make cuts making squares or diamonds with a knife.

  • Using a potato peeler, make almond shavings and sprinkle over the barfi

  • Let it cool and then serve.
