Ingredients:


Paneer: 200gm Tomatoes: 4 medium (puréed) Ginger: 1 tsp (grated) Malai/Cream: 1 tbsp Coriander powder: 1 tsp Red chilly powder: 1/2 tsp Salt: 3/4 tsp Green coriander: 1 tbsp (chopped)


Let's Begin!


  • Wash paneer and keep aside

  • Put ghee / oil in a pan and switch on the flame

  • Add ginger and sauté till it changes colour slightly

  • Add puréed tomatoes and bring the flame to medium high

  • Keep stirring tomatoes in between till the ghee starts showing on the sides

  • Now add coriander powder, chilly powder and salt

  • Add 3-4 tbsps of water and malai and mix well

  • let it simmer till the ghee separates

  • Add 1.5 cups of water and bring it to a boil

  • Mix in the paneer cubes, cover it and let it simmer for 5 minutes

  • Switch off the flame and garnish with green coriander.


Note:

  • You can use 1/2 tsp of haldi powder and garam masala powder each if you are allowed to consume it during fasting.

  • Same with salt, if you are using regular salt then make it 1 tsp.
