Ingredients:
Paneer: 200gm
Tomatoes: 4 medium (puréed)
Ginger: 1 tsp (grated)
Malai/Cream: 1 tbsp
Coriander powder: 1 tsp
Red chilly powder: 1/2 tsp
Salt: 3/4 tsp
Green coriander: 1 tbsp (chopped)
Let's Begin!
Wash paneer and keep aside
Put ghee / oil in a pan and switch on the flame
Add ginger and sauté till it changes colour slightly
Add puréed tomatoes and bring the flame to medium high
Keep stirring tomatoes in between till the ghee starts showing on the sides
Now add coriander powder, chilly powder and salt
Add 3-4 tbsps of water and malai and mix well
let it simmer till the ghee separates
Add 1.5 cups of water and bring it to a boil
Mix in the paneer cubes, cover it and let it simmer for 5 minutes
Switch off the flame and garnish with green coriander.
Note:
You can use 1/2 tsp of haldi powder and garam masala powder each if you are allowed to consume it during fasting.
Same with salt, if you are using regular salt then make it 1 tsp.
